Robofest 2016

Robofest 2016 was held at Pearl City High School. Teams from our the island competed in various categories:
 
Gaming: Students created an autonomous robot that could hit four golf balls into the "hole" from various parts of the playing board.
Exhibition: Each team has complete freedom to create an autonomous robot that can help others. Students created a display board with their program, math and science connections, and question that helped develop their robot. Students also created a video presenting to the judges on some of their past work and challenges to their robot.
RoboParade: Students create a parade of autonomous robotic floats. This year's theme was: Aloha Spirit.
Bottle Sumo: Students create an autonomous robot that can intentionally push their opponent off the table. The remaining robot wins.
 
Kanoelani competed in all categories except for the Bottle Sumo. Kanoelani Robotics Competition Coaches are very proud of each of students that competed this year! 
 
Results:
Mine Broz took 2nd place in the Exhibition category.
Technical Difficulties took 4th place in the Gaming category.
