Health Room Reminder

Please do not send to school any over the counter medication of any type as they are not allowed to be taken by the student in school. Students will have to be picked up by a parent/guardian.

If your child needs emergency rescue medicine for this school year (2018-2019), please see the school nurse as authorization forms must be filled out before any emergency medication can be accepted. Forms need to be renewed every school year. Please do not send your child to school if they are showing symptoms such as vomiting, 100+ temperature, flu, head lice, mumps, etc.

'Ohana Art Award Ceremony

Three of our students placed 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place on the 'Ohana Art Contest, sweeping the K-5 division.

1st Place: Lashelle MacPherson in Ms. Powell's class
2nd Place: Evan Gatdula in Ms. Whiteman's class
3rd Place: Aleigh-Rose Young-Pueliu in Mrs. Kamiya's class

Students will be formally recognized at the award ceremony at the Hawaii State Library on Saturday, November 17 at 2:00 - 4:00 pm.
All students who submitted an entry with a completed entry form will have their art displayed at the Hawaii State Library from November 17th to December 8th.

Pearl City Basketball Tournament

This past Saturday, November 10th, students in Grades 5 and 6 participated in our annual Pearl City Basketball Tournament at Pearl City High School.
Thank you to the families and teachers that came out to support and cheer on our awesome players. Thank you to the players for giving it your all and preserving through the games. We are very proud of you! Thank you to our awesome coaches: Mr. Wai Kong Ho, Mr. Titus Arreola, and Mr. Andrew Joyce. We appreciate you giving your time after school and your basketball knowledge to our students.

Holiday Gift Bag Program at Waipio Shopping Center

From December 1-15, please stop by Big City Diner, Edward Jones, Quick Stars Tutoring, and Acapulco Mexican Restaurant to purchase a one-of-a-kind gift bag created by our Kanoelani Elementary students. For every dollar raised through the gift bag sales, the center will match up to $1,000 to our school. Suggested donation is $2 per bag (no taxes) and the donations will go directly to our school. There will be a donation box at each participating merchant to drop money in.
