Panda Fundraiser - Thursday, December 12

Please come out and support Kanoelani Elementary by purchasing a meal or more at Panda Express in Waipio (next to Costco) on Thursday, December 12 from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm. Show the flyer, digital or print, so we can to receive 20% of your purchase. Thank you for your continued support! Happy Holidays!!!

Unity Day - October 23, 2019: Together with Aloha

The Hawai'i DOE is encouraging students and staff to join a national movement for inclusive, nurturing learning environments for all.
On Wednesday, October 23, 2019, wear orange to show you care about safe and supportive schools and communities, and for solidarity during National Bullying Prevention Month. Let's send a giant ORANGE message of hope and support!
The Hawai'i DOE will be distributing orange bracelets and banners with the message United for Kindness, Acceptance, and Inclusion! - keep an eye out for them!

Foodland's Shop for Pearl City Schools

If you shop at Foodland, select Kanoelani Elementary School (7575) as the school you wish to support. For every dollar you spend, the school you designate will earn the same amount in points. Schools will receive cash donations from $7,500 to $500 based on the ranking of the most points earned.
The program runs through November 30.

Panda Fundraiser - Thursday, November 21

Please stop by the Waipio Panda Express on Thursday, November 21 from 11 am to 8 pm to purchase a meal for yourself and/or family. Monies raised will go to benefit Kindergarten. Show the flyer (printed or digital) when checking out. Share with friends and family! Thank you for your continued support!

Current Art Contests

Just a reminder, two art contests available with upcoming due dates.

1. TC Ching, "Made in Hawaii" Grades K-6: Poster/Essay (Essay only for Gr.6)- Identify a problem in Hawaii and pose a creative solution.

2. Appelly Poetry Contest, Grades 3-6: Write a poem. Minimum of 2 lines. Max of 20 lines.

If you want Ms. Kaai to submit your entry, please submit to her box in the office by Friday, November 1st. She will be mailing it out the following Monday.

Congrats to Mr. Ogawa on winning the Presidential Excellence Awards in Science!

Mr. Ogawa is currently in Washington D.C. accepting the award for the Presidential Excellence Awards in Science. He was selected based on his distinction in the classroom and dedication to improving science. We are so proud of all the great work he has done for our students, staff, and community. When he returns, please congratulate him on this prestigious award!
