Response to Intervention (RTI) is a multi-tier approach to early identification and support of students with learning needs. Students are selected through a process and will be receiving additional support to help them meet the state standards. Students are pulled out for 30 minutes two to five times a week (depending on their need) to work in a small group with a teacher that focuses on building their reading skill. As a student progresses towards grade level proficiency, they will be exited when the small group instruction is no longer needed.
