June 1st  HELP EACH OTHER
Teamwork is working together to solve problems and reach goals.
nurture
Some examples of working together are:
Folding clothes together, cleaning up the living room together, washing the car together, and taking turns to take the trash out.  It's always more fun doing chores together than doing them by yourself!  Go team!

June 8th SHARE A STORY
Storytelling brings people closer together.
week2
Share stories from your childhood or stories your parents or grandparents shared with you.
I remember my grandmother reading the Tongue-Cut Sparrow to me.  It was written in Japanese and I would be amazed that my grandmother could read the Japanese characters (Kanji).  My grandmother always reminded me of the lesson in the story:  Be kind and don't be greedy.  She was a good role model and always showed me ways to show kindness and not to be greedy.
